Super Hi-Fi Unveils Major AI Performance Breakthrough to Accelerate System Speed and Customer Benefits

Los Angeles, CA – September 4, 2025 — Super Hi-Fi, the leader in high margin radio, today announced the most significant upgrade to its core AI technology platform since its launch, dramatically increasing AI system speeds across its entire Radio Operating System workflow by 3x. These upgrades include a combination of new AI models; retrainings of existing models; optimized and upgraded code for current services; and backend pipeline enhancements.

The goal of Super Hi-Fi’s system has been to provide radio companies with an entirely new level of automation across the entire radio creation and management spectrum. To that end, the company has built and deployed a set of artificial intelligence tools that mimic the decision making that happens at all levels of radio production. The benefit of that approach is much less work for radio team members; more scale; less cost; and a more consistent listening experience. The main drawback, however, is that the process requires significant computational resources in the cloud to prepare every moment of radio, and because of this the system has - at least until now - required a 30-minute window for human activities such as voice tracks or news and traffic reports to make it out over the air.

Today’s announcement reflects a system-wide set of speedups focused on providing a much more real-time feel to its services, while preserving the precision and efficiency that Super Hi-Fi has been targeting since the launch of the company. The result is a 3x speedup for all near-realtime content insertion and production, allowing time-sensitive material such as morning shows, voice tracks, traffic reports or news updates to air with only a 10 minute time-to-air window.
